Independent Sports Worker – Tennis Coach

★ My day starts and ends with tennis. ★

I always loved to pick a ball and play with it with friends when I was young. Either it was football, handball, volleyball, you name it. Although I trained football (soccer) for 5 years, I discovered the beautiful sport of tennis when I was in college.

My path began in 2010, when I watched the Shanghai final between Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray on a small TV screen at home.

Speed, agility, technique, tactics, combativeness, grumbling, moaning, calmness, composure, my eyes were wide open. I was more focused than a predator, not to miss a single moment. The energy shown by the two players was euphoric and addictive.

Since my train to professional tennis left a long time ago, the skills that I developed as a youngster, by playing different ball games, helped me to quickly improve in tennis and become a tennis coach at the age of 26.

Before that I observed and followed various profiles of coaches and got involved with them, which gave me the knowledge on how my philosophy on tennis should look like. Today it gives my life meaning, when I prepare a plan that is directed towards a goal and achive it together with players.

I started with my own website to share my insights into tennis. I’m not talking just technique, which is an important part when playing the game, but also to understand the feeling, balance, rhythm, timing, which are key skills if you want to play more than just good.
